Ferry Service Between St. Thomas and St. John

Traveling by ferries is an integral part of island life and certainly essential for residents and visitors alike. Going to St. Thomas is a daily trip for many St. Jonians who travel there to shop, to work or to go to school. And of course visitors who arrive by plane land in St. Thomas and therefore must ride the ferry to complete their trip to St. John. 

 

There are two ferry routes provided between St. Thomas and St. John, USVI. The shortest route is between Red Hook on St. Thomas and Cruz Bay on St. John and takes approximately 15 minutes. The longer ferry route runs from downtown Charlotte Amalie on St. Thomas also to Cruz Bay on St. John however it is very conveniently located only 10 minutes from the St. Thomas airport, hotels in the mid to west sides of St. Thomas, it is close to shopping and Cruise Ship docking facilities
