Varlack Ventures, Inc. is a family concern. The founder's daughter, Delrise Varlack, manages the business end with the help of her sister, Jean and their indispensable aid, Winifred.

Four of Rodney Varlack's other daughters, Patricia, Diane, Vivian and Gayle, are licensed skippers operating the ferries along with longtime Varlack Ventures skipper John and others. Some members of the Varlack family handle the ticket sales, work in rentals, in the office and on the vessels as crew.

The Varlack clan extends beyond blood as the bond between the Varlack employees, family and non-family, is strong and loyal.

The services offered by Varlack Ventures. a diversified company dedicated to attending to the welfare of the guests of St. John, include car rentals, ferry services and guided island tours.
